living. learning. preparing.

Hey A218,

Please continue to pray for Ryan King. As of this morning they had found leukemia cells in his bloodwork and were working on transporting him to Shands to determine what the next steps need to be.

You can stay up to date on how he is doing by visiting his website: caringbridge.com/visit/ryanmarshallking

It would be great if you could leave a comment in the journal section on that site as well. Thanks for praying.

Kelsey

Hey guys,

Anna and I got to visit Ryan at Shands yesterday. Just wanted to encourage you all to visit his website and leave a comment in the guest book. Starting today, he has three really intense hard days of chemo. I know your prayers and encouragement would mean a lot to him. Thanks!

Kelsey

Update from Ryan's mom @ 2pm Monday:

Ryan was just moved to 11th floor (Room 11-438) which is intensive care (not intermediate). This way they can monitor him 24/7. He was getting too tired breathing from the mask and it was making him weaker and more tired from struggling to get air. He doesn't like the new mask already but they told him and us that this was absolutely necessary and that he was one step away from being on a ventilator. Poor thing is struggling so hard to hold on. The situation is getting really critical and very scary. But we remain hopeful and positive. The visiting hours are pretty restrictive too, so we won't be able to spend as much time in his room as we'd like to. Please keep praying hard for Ryan's recovery.
