Pray for Sam Schoenheit

Hey everyone,

A friend of mine that I went to Scout Sniper school with was shot in the back of the head while in Afghanistan. Please keep him and his family in prayer, right now he is unable to use his entire right side and he cannot speak either. I will be visiting him this weekend and getting more information about his recovery. We serve an awesome God who loves us and is with us always and I want to remind Sam of that and let him know you guys are praying for him.

Thank you for sharing this prayer request with us. Please let him know that I will be praying for him and although I don't know him I do know that the power of pray is the best power there is. Please also thank him and his family for all that he has done for us by serving our country. It takes a special man or woman to serve and we should all take the time to tell them that we appreciate the sacrifices they make every day by leaving their loved ones to serve for us and that we are praying for them and their families. My prayer for Sam is that our Lord the who is the Great Physician lay his hand on him and heal him on this day and that while he is healing his family find comfort in knowing that the Lord is with them.

Thanks for your prayers! He was expressive and more energetic than expected. Please continue to fight for him in your prayers; his right arm is mobile but he does not have complete movement. His speech is greatly improved, but he has to think carefully about the words he wants to say.
