Homeless Ministry on Christmas
There was an earlier discussion about doing a homeless ministry on Christmas day.
Here's the plan so far:
We will be passing out donuts and coffee to the homeless in downtown Jacksonville. We will be meeting at the tree in front of the Jacksonville Landing at 8:00am.
Due to law restrictions, we cannot pass out anything homemade or serve more than 21 people per trip. Since we can't give them a hot meal, we will be giving out donuts and coffee. When the donuts run out we will be giving out candy canes.
IF YOU WANT TO COME PLEASE E-MAIL ME SO I CAN ADD YOU TO A LIST OF PEOPLE.
IF YOU ARE NOT ON THE LIST WE WON'T BE WAITING FOR YOU SO IF YOU WANT TO COME PLEASE TELL ME!
thank you all for taking interest in this and giving your time to be the hands and feet of Christ. It's a wonderful way to end 2008 and a great way to celebrate Christ's birthday! :)

This is great, Grace! I'm glad you got this all planned out. The laws that are restricting this are pretty interesting (and annoying). You know I'd be over there if I was in town... Good luck without me!

Grace this is amazing and I wish you all the luck with this and what happens during 2009. As of right now I do not even know if I will be in town on Christmas, but if I am I will let you know and come join you.
