A time for everything.

A Time for Everything: Ecclesiastes 3:1-8
3:1 For everything there is a season, and a time for every matter under heaven:
2 a time to be born, and a time to die;
a time to plant, and a time to pluck up what is planted;
3 a time to kill, and a time to heal;
a time to break down, and a time to build up;
4 a time to weep, and a time to laugh;
a time to mourn, and a time to dance;
5 a time to cast away stones, and a time to gather stones together;

Do we have any soldiers in Access218?

So tonight's message for those of you who were not there based around Joshua Chapter 5.

This message was convicting in so many ways. Something that really stuck out was when Derrick talked about the three types of Christians according to some pastor who lives in Oklahoma (these are paraphrased):-the type of Christian who is happy about the benefits of being a Christian -the type of Christian who is willing to help in a comfortable situation -the type of Christian who is willing to dedicate thei… Continue

Follow thee...indeed, but what does it really mean?

To say, "Praise the Lord with all that's within me, oh my soul praise the Lord."

What does it mean to live this out?
How would our lives look living out what we worship?

We have some people that are doing some great things over seas right now. They have hit a few bumps, but are good considering. They persevering and giving praise to God through their trials.

2 Cor. 4:7-18
7 But we have this treasure in jars of clay, to show that the surpassing power belongs to God and not to us. 8 We are affl… Continue

Daniel Ch.3

A few things I want to point out.

-One, what amazing faith Shadrach, Meshach, and Obendigo had: to look King Nebuchanezzar in the eye and say to him they would not worship these false gods, when threatened by death to flame took serious, serious faith.

-Two, how awesome God is to deliver them from this flame that was so severe that it killed the men who were throwing these guys into it.

-Three, how great faith and a greater God can change a man (Nebuchanezzar).

I also would love some input a… Continue

Mark 8:11-13

11(A) The Pharisees came and began to argue with him,(B) seeking from him(C) a sign from heaven(D) to test him. 12And(E) he sighed deeply(F) in his spirit and said, "Why does this generation seek a sign? Truly, I say to you, no sign will be given to this generation." 13And(G) he left them, got into the boat again, and went to the other side.

This verse shows some of Jesus's personality.

My interpretation is when he says, "Why does this generation seek a sign?" the emphasis is on the THIS. Of a… Continue
