About Me:

Just your average Christian Vegetarian:) I teach Middle School Special Ed and tutor during the week. I graduated a few years back from Kent State University with a BA in American Sign Language as a Foreign Language and wound up down in Florida, hoping to teach at the Florida School for the Deaf and the Blind. God had other plans for me and led me to my current position, which has been such a blessing. I'm the oldest of four, yes that means I'm the annoying older sister that still harrasses her siblings. My extended family is huge with about 50 first cousins/aunts/uncles.! But I wouldn't have it any other way, I love being apart of a big family! I enjoy playing and making music, and even a little kareoke now and then. I played the clarinet all through school and recent started dabbling with the guitar. I love to take roadtrips, any kind really-day trips, weekend, long trips too. I really want to get involved in missions trips and organizations here around Jacksonville where I can serve others.

My goal someday is to become a college professor, preferrably in Education...but I have to work on my masters first:)

Currently I'm reading "The Sparrow". My goal for this year is to read 52 books in 52 weeks:) Here are a few of my favorites:The China Study, Eat Pray Love, Gone With the Wind, Sound and the Fury, The Lady and the Panda, The Glass Castle, The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-time, Reason for Hope, The Wild Trees.
