So about me... I grew up in Middleburg and now I live in Orange Park. I love Jesus, without his suffering on the cross for my sins I have no clue were I would be! I am learning to depend on him no matter what and to trust in his will. It may not be easy, but it will always be worth it! My friends and family mean the world to me, they are my foundation and a huge part of my testimony.

Focus

"Set your minds on things above, not on earthly things." Colossians 3:2

This verse has been on my heart recently. I know I lose focus often on things that deserve my focus. It is easy for me to focus on all the girlie things, like boys, Friday nights with girlfriends, fun vacations, gifts and many other things-but in doing this I loose sight of what matters. My personal relationship with Christ. What distracts your focus from Christ?

don't know if this ever happens to any of you, but it happens to me all the time. The scenario plays out like this: I sit down to do my quiet time. After reading sometimes for a few minutes or other times almost instantly something hits me like a ton of bricks. The words are right there staring back at me.
