A218 Lunch after A218 Sunday at Jane's House

We will be having a lunch at 1PM after the second service this Sunday. The lunch will be at Jane's house, one of our partners. It's food, it's free, and people will be there! What more can you ask for!

- About Me:
- I love adventure. Skiing, scuba diving, parasailing, motorcycles, fast cars etc. The biggest adventure of my life has been and still is my journey to know our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ. At times its scary to be asked to step out in faith, other times its uncomfortable to do something I don't feel qualified to do or just don't want to do, but the thrill comes when despite what I feel I am obedient and He says "I Am with you". Now that's the adventure; doing what is beyond your abilities because it's you and the Creator of the Universe!! How cool is that?!!!

- Photography, diving, skiing, sailing, manatees, fishing, motorcycles, driving my Minis, playing(learning guitar), animals, Gator football, Youth, family and church.
- My Goals / Aspirations / Dreams
- To make a diffence; not that I want to be famous but maybe have someone down the road say "remember that crazy woman who would show up sometimes, the light she carried encouraged me to be what God called me to be." We are all but grains of sand that make up the beach, as one grain of sand I am happy to be part of the beach.
- The things that make me want to get out of bed:
- Life, it's so short. We need to make an impact while we can. People around us go through life as a victim. That's not what God intended. We are conquerers, let's take back what rightly belongs to God.
- My favorite place I've been:
- skiing in Chile in August

- Soul Revolution by John Burke, It by Craig Groeschel, Uprising by Irwin McManus, Contrairian's Guide to Leadership by Steven Sample.

Do you ever wonder why God chooses you to do things? I do. I think, “I’m so unqualified for this, isn’t there someone else, someone more believable than me, someone with a better track record? What on earth are You thinking to choose me for this?!"

Sleep
I don't sleep a lot. Sleep is like another world to me. I live another life there. I'm stronger but it's much more than this world. Still I can handle what I confront there only because of my strength in Christ. So what is it like for those who don't have Christ? Probably really scary. My concern is for those who sleep much, even when they are awake let alone what they go through when they sleep. What strength do they draw upon? How good can it be?
