About Me:
So, "Who is Jason?", you might be asking yourself. Well, I was raised in a little town called Newberry, which is about 30 minutes west of Gainesville, FL, home of the Gators!!! Most of my relatives live in the Michigan area and I try to visit them about once a year. My parents are really cool people and they’ve been happily married now for 26 years. My dad is a goof ball which tends to rub off on me occasionally. I’m the oldest out of three children and I’m really close to my brother, Justin, and sister, Crystal. I played Alto and Tenor Saxophone in middle school and high school band. During high school I was really involved in Grace United Methodist’s Youth group. I had the opportunity to go on a two week mission trip out west to a Navaho Reservation in Arizona. It was an awesome experience. After high school, when I was attending two years at Santa Fe Community College in Gainesville, I played saxophone in the Grace Praise band. After receiving my AA I moved to Jacksonville and attended UNF for three years. I graduated last spring with a Bachelor of Science in Computer and Information Sciences and a Minor in Business. I now work for CSX Technology as a Software Engineer.
Personality wise, I’m pretty shy in group settings where I don’t know many people, but once I get to know everyone, the shyness fades away. Some people say I’m easy to talk to and I think my best feature is my smile :) I have a positive outlook on life and I’m almost never mad or upset.
I love photography, bike riding, kayaking, racquetball, basketball, tennis, snorkeling, racing R/C trucks, skiing, and Archery. Now just because I love all these things doesn’t mean I’m an expert at them :) I just started learning to play the guitar and I now have an interest in ballroom dancing.
God is a big part of my life and I pray for His guidance and strength all the time. He has shaped me into the person I am today.
Gonna assume you are well, since I don't get to see you much to hear it from your mouth. I trust you are well, loving your life, and following God's ever stretching call. Talk to you soon bro...
