I'm a sociology major at UNF. I really love my life. Laughing, good conversation and Starbucks makes my heart really happy :)

My Interests / Hobbies

Jesus!, random adventures, my recent addiction to coffee, the beach, dark chocolate chex mix, Stewie Griffin, movies from the 80s, postsecret.com, reading pretty much anything, working at Publix, Isabella Elise aka the beef!, and basically having a blast anywhere I go.

The things that make me want to get out of bed:

the promise of caffeine, my niece jumping on my bed and my oh so lovely alarm clock!

My favorite place I've been:

Cusco and Machu Picchu are definitely tied for my favorite!

My books I'm reading:

Lots and lots of sociology books...

The Bible :)

A little known fact about me:

I've always loved Mother Teresa and I found out that God made me the same size as her...so apparently we have at least one thing in common...yay!

One thing I hope to accomplish this year:

Well, deciding on a grad school would be an amazing thing to do soon :)

I got involved in the ESOL program b/c I was once a "speaker of another language" (English that is), when I lived in Germany as a child and went to an all-German school. Now I have students who are learning to speak English as a second language so I can relate to how they feel and what it's like to learn a new language. It is interesting to learn about all the different cultures in my class and fun to see how much they grow in a school year! Thanks for asking. :)
