Your Chinese friends will definitely be the ones to help change the political situation in Burma and I fully believe that! I can't wait! :)
I've been thinking about China and missions a lot lately. I'm trying to discern why China is on my heart a lot the past year or so. The Burmese people are the heaviest issue on my heart, but China is a close second. I'm just not sure on direction in either situation and I thought I may as well as about books! :D! So thank you so much for so many titles! I will definitely look in to all of them!
Hey Laura! We met while you were here earlier this year. Do you know of any good books on China and the church? I just thought of all people to ask you'd be the one that might know! :D
Hey Laura, I don't think we have met before. Which Access gathering do you attend?

Hi Laura! It was great to meet you at JU the other day. Thanks for sharing with us about China. I am getting excited about going there soon. God is starting to provide in some pretty neat ways. I also just had a friend send me a mission update email from some missionaries in China just because they knew I was going there. Turns out, they work in the same city we are going to! Our God is so amazing! Hope you are well. :-)
honestly, i don't know. i'm basically leaving it up to God and wherever He leads me i'll go. at first i thought i knew, and by being called to be a missionary i was ready to go away to somewhere like Albania for ten years, but i have come to realize, especially with all the things God is putting on my heart, how many different things a missionary is or could be. i will go to Albania or China or Sudan etc. if that is where i am to go. but right now i don't know for sure where or how God is going to use me. all i know (or think i know) is that after i graduate i plan on going to seminary to further prepare myself for ministry and missions. after that, only God knows what i will be doing. :)
