Cause '09

Many of you who attended Access last night are pondering the cause that they will give themselves to in 2009. Surely, Derrick is already asking if you know. Many causes deal with the remedy of specific social injustices (i.e. human trafficking, poverty, etc.). This will take a lot of research for you to choose; giving your life to a cause is no easy task, and I'm certainly having some difficulty. Don't forget about some of the Human Rights organizations that have associated themselves with A218. For example, International Justice Mission (www.ijm.org) Not For Sale Campaign (www.notforsalecampaign.org), City Rescue Mission (www.crmjax.org) among several others.

By the way, I'm really loving Derrick's call to action on this. Remember that we cannot live by faith alone, but also by works (read the whole book of James) that makes our faith even stronger. Believe me, as rough as this will be, God will bless you more than you can imagine, as long as your serving Him, picking up your cross, and following Christ.
