No car, no problem, we'll work it out =] And do we really have the same class that is so exciting! I picked it because studying the Great Depression in my AP us history class was so interesting to me...I guess you could say I loved the Great Depression, as messed up as that sounds! haha Why'd you pick it? And that is really nice that you have Fridays off, it's like a holiday weekend every weekend.
And yea my group is really awesome, I love them all to death. We have ages from seniors in high school, to guys in their mid-twenties..our youth pastor is an awesome guy, he's really laid back and has an awesome wife (who I'm actually really close with as well) and 3 young kids yet he hangs out with us all as if he was just another youth. He's helping me a lot with my jr.high girls ministry as well, there are only a couple girls right now but we're trying to grow, but at the same time numbers aren't always important...more concerned with building the relationships there so I need to remember to pray, A LOT! haha But they're so sweet, one of the girls in particular and I have gotten really close so I'm hoping I can help her as she gets through middle school bc we all know how much jr.high sucks haha
We only have a handful of college kids, but we're all the same age, going in as freshman so that's nice =] What about your church group? Is it really big, or more the small close-knit kind? Do you get to work with any of your friends? Your job sounds really cool by the way! Are you going to work when you move here? I currently work at a health club in my neighborhood, it's close to where I live and pays well so it was such a blessing to get the job. I'm the receptionist though so I get to, answer phones, welcome people, register them for memberships, yada yada, oh and take all the complaints people have (which is so very pleasant I must add :p) But in all honesty I do like it a lot. I'm also a certified lifeguard so I take some guarding shifts (not so much anymore) at the pool at the club as well, which is fun too bc you get a whistle haha
And I do not think that your activities sound boring at all! I like doing that stuff with my friends too, pretty much I just like being around people....
I do have one sibling, an older sister who, funny that you mentioned it, went to FSU as well! She went her first two years then transferred to UNF to finish. I got accepted there too but decided on UNF for multiple reasons, and I'm glad I did =] Maybe being that black sheep is a good thing too Matt, now you can follow your own path! I must say I'm a little jealous that you have so many siblings, it must be fun. Now that my sister is grown and moved out the house can get kind of lonely. But I'll be moving out soon too anyways so no worries!

The church is about a 25 minute commute from UNF and a lot of it is highway so it's no big =] and I'm super excited your interested in checking it out.
I am actually taking the same Honors class, and I totally agree it will be gobs of fun...not really. But hey who knows? Gotta think positive right! I have that class on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 1:(something)- 4:20 and then my other classes are Art Survey 1 in the mornings on T and R, and then Stat after that on T, R, and F I only need to be there an hour for Stat. So commuting will be tough ( as I will be doing that whenever I have class) but thankfully I'll only be going those three days.
I have two really close best friends and we do everything together from baking (well I bake they watch haha), to movies, to going to the random farmers markets that we can find...my other friends from church are fun to hang out with too though. We all like to go to lunch as a huge group after church (restaurant waiters cringe when they see us all coming) and this weekend we went to the beach all together so that was fun! But when I'm not with friends I help lead the middle school girl ministry at my church so I try to take them out to do fun stuff, or I'm working ( not so fun ) =]
What about you? What do you do with your friends or in your free time? Do you have a job? Any siblings?
It was great to meet you face to face...looking forward to many more talks and hang outs in the coming season...that is, if you like hanging out with black people.

I actually was going to ask more in my last comment to you but refrained for fear of freaking you out haha but I'm glad to see that that wouldn't have been the case! I really do love Access though, it's an awesome campus ministry which is what I've been looking for now as well. I do go to a different home church on Sundays though, I've actually been going there for about 11 years and I love it and know it well =] Also you are totally invited and I would love it if you wanted to come with me one Sunday to check it out when you move here to see if it's somewhere you might want to go once you start UNF :) In fact we're about to start up a college group too and want more members so the timing of this couldn't be better, a "God thing" as I like to say I guess haha the website is www.crosscreekchurch.us if you wanted to take a look! Hey, I hear you are looking for a roommate. I need to find a place to live before my lease runs out at the end of August. Someone I know from church has a 2 bedroom 1 bathroom house for rent. I haven't looked at it yet, so I don't know if it's any good.
Gotcha. Well that could end up being really great. There are a lot of good people who go to UNF. I had only met my roommate once before we moved in, and we ended up living together for three years. When do you come up?
