Yeah- in Jax now... been in and out the past few years. In Jax from '93-02. Then moved to Northern Ireland from 02-06. Then back to Jax in '06. I had taken a haitus from Access for the past couples years and just started hanging around Access again about 3 weeks ago or so? So we probably haven't met in person yet. I'm old school Access too though... been at Access since 98 or 99... :)
i went by the church monday and talked to a few people. they told me about the website. later that day, i signed on and took a look at all that's going on and discovered the online community.
Please to meet you! Thanks for your question and for visiting the site. Grace & Mercy Christian Apparel is a new and upcoming clothing line based in Jacksonville, Florida.
Bold but simple, our line is designed to remind all that Jesus sacrificed His life to provide everlasting life. Ephesians 5:2 says that Christ loved us and gave himself up for us as a fragrant offering and sacrifice to God. Grace & Mercy is The Brand for Christ, for the One who sacrificed it all.
Have you studied much on grace and mercy in your classes there at the church? It is truly a topic worth getting into. For me personally, when I truly think about the love He showed, knowingly sacrificing His life so that we may have everlasting life, it draws me nearer to him. The whole thing with the shirts/apparel is keep us all refreshed and reminded. I love it when people ask me about the shirts. I wear one every day and I strike up some of the most awesome conversations with believers and non-believers.
Okay...enough about the site...what are you into? What are you studying? I went to UNF and UOP. Masters in Org Management. Worked in many corporate jobs, even FCCJ and in the Philippines for a while. I love to work and be active in something that pleases God.
Thanks! I just joined the access team. I have been going to Crossroad Church for over 2 years now. I have known Derrick and Kelsey for about the same amount of time.
Thanks for the welcome. :0) I always liked have a Juen bday- yo get to celebrate every six months.. {Christmas/ Family/ Gifts} - etc...then Bday..:) I see you been to NYC-was that just for a vaca or did you live there?
It is a pleasure to meet you. I have been going to CRC since almost the beginning. I was involved in youth at CRC, then Access, and have attend Forward occasionally.
I graduated from Wolfson High School. Received my AA. from FCCJ (now FSC), B.A in Elementary Education from UNF (you can finish) and just graduated from Asbury Theological Seminary. I am currently looking for a full-time job in ministry.
Now that I do not have tons of papers to write and books to read, I plan on becoming more involved in Forward.
So... you went to Amsterdam, correct? I would like to hear about your trip.
Again, It was a please to meet you (at least on here).
yeah, i was. i've been to the past 3 or 4 this summer, i've totally loved it. but i'm leavin for FSU pretty soon, but i'll definately be back to visit when i can, and next summer for sure.
Very good question, David! I'm not quite ready to settle back into Corporate America, so I am currently avoiding gainful employment in the IT industry and looking for something a little more interesting.
