Hey there – I hope you enjoyed your first visit to Asheville and your time with your friend. So, you’re headed back to Jax tomorrow? What made you decide to come back south?

I think you have some really good insight and I agree with you about the getting stuck part. I've been there before- many times. You're right - there's more to say; sometimes it easier to write, sometimes though, it's easier to discuss in person. Let's chat about this more later.
No, I haven't quite figured out plans for new year's eve yet. You know, for a planner, I'm certainly waiting until the last minute this time. I guess I'll just be spontaneous. :-)
So, when are you headed up to Asheville? Any plans to see the Biltmore or touristy stuff like that?
Hey Mike,
I’ve been thinking a lot about our conversation. I read a few things this morning and thought you might be interested. When I read this first link, I thought – he’s got it. That’s what I was thinking, just couldn’t put the words to it. It makes sense to me so I thought I would share.

I kept thinking about all of the Bible verses about waiting on God, then about the sermon I heard a long time ago about putting feet with your faith. Sometimes it seems like a dichotomy. But it doesn’t have to be. I think we can actively wait on God by following the little nudgings here and there. God will direct us as we go if we continually seek him. If we are moving, the challenge is to keep our eyes on God and not get lost in our own plans. I think we must find that balance between moving forward and continuously seeking God.
Anyways, just a few thoughts. Have a great day. Talk to you later.
Hey there - Christmas was wonderful - relaxing and fun with family. How about yours? Where are you in Carolina? I'm actually heading up to Charleston on New Years Day. A friend of mine from Ahseville is meeting me there and we are spending the long weekend hanging out.
Christmas will be a quieter one this year - I have the rest of the week off but most of my family works tomorrow and Friday. Wednesday we'll attend the Christmas Eve Service together then Christmas Day we will spend together. Friday, I'll visit with some friends who are in town. New Years I haven't figured out yet. Have you decided where you'll be?
I really enjoyed having everyone over. And the clean-up was simple - you all took everything with you. Thanks so much! Have a great Christmas. Enjoy your trip up north.
